The Body and TBI
Just because you have a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) it doesn’t mean you can go hog-wild (poke Intended) to be fat and out of shape!
A few years ago I was freelancing and was doing patient advocacy as a part of a health and wellness study at Craig Hospital in Colorado. It was a four-year study that in my opinion was one-sided; in a sampling of participants of all who had a brain injury and of them all, very few kept their body tuned up and running efficiently so the fit population was misrepresented in their findings, which were inconclusive by the way.
In my opinion, a healthy heads needs a healthy body and visa versa. You body is one unit made up of different processing centers.
Think of it this way:
A brain needs blood, healthy blood to sustain. If that blood has a lot of fat content, it cannot possibly heal itself to the best of its potential. Makes sense right?
Of course it does!
So you owe it to yourself to be in the best shape possible given your circumstance. By the way and thinking along these lines, check this out. I am by no means done with this topic, I just scratched out a few random thoughts to add to the conversation.
Case not closed!

Meaning he is not responsible in any way for your actions. He offers his advice for free on the world wide web and you should take it as such, cheap advice.
